Dr. Lindsey Burnett, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Burnett is a Urogynecologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences. She completed her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Arizona State University, postdoctoral fellowship in Physiology and Biophysics at University of Washington, MD at University of Illinois and completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine at UCSD/Kaiser. Her research applies her expertise in cellular and molecular biology to the understanding of how metabolism impacts pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary and fecal incontinence. She is also the director of the Maternal Pelvic Health Program focused on understanding pelvic health in pregnancy and after delivery.
