Menopause Program

When to See a Doctor

Our menopause health program, the first of its kind in San Diego since 2004, is a multidisciplinary service designed to meet the complex needs of women approaching or experiencing natural, surgical or premature menopause. We offer an evidence based approach to managing menopause using the latest research to guide clinical care.

We start with an extended consultation, including a complete review of medical history and physical exam.

Personalized Care Plan

We then work with you to create an individualized plan to manage your health and menopause symptoms. Our services include:

  • Hormone testing and hormone therapy
  • Non-hormonal treatments for vasomotor symptoms
  • Gynecologic care for menopausal women including management of postmenopausal bleeding, office hysteroscopy
  • Management of genitourinary syndrome of menopause
  • Preventive health care including breast, cardiac and bone health assessment
  • Education and resources related to cardiovascular, breast, cognitive, bone and urogenital health, as well as lifestyle, mental health, and sexuality issues
  • Assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunction
  • Mammography, breast cancer risk assessment
  • Bone density testing
