Welcome to the Culture & Justice Quorum at University of California, San Diego
At UC San Diego’s Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, our mission is to serve our community with quality and just healthcare for everyone. We believe that our best is reflected in our clinical, educational, and research endeavors when our culture fosters and values diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice.
To that end, in September 2020, our Department established the Culture and Justice Quorum to ensure our excellence is inclusive and our department is a place where everyone can thrive. The Quorum is a foundational, departmental racial equity and justice committee designed to take an action-oriented approach to create and sustain department-level initiatives that foster a culture of equity and justice and encourage anti-racist work.
